These are some of the countries in Europe that have low taxes for remote workers and offer a great quality of life at an affordable cost of living.

“Remotely from Georgia” is a program that allows citizens from 95 countries to work remotely and travel within the country as long as they intend to stay at least 180 days.

In the application, individuals have to select whether they’re full-time employees, freelancers or business owners. They should provide personal information as well, such as first name, surname, passport number, nationality, etc as well as prove they have the financial means to sustain themselves. Applicants should have a salary of at least $2000 a month (or $24000 in savings).
The individual should also have a health insurance for the period that he/she is going to spend in Georgia.

In terms of taxes, a foreign citizen becomes a tax resident after 183 days in the country within a 12-month period.
