Chase Freedom, Not Money

Success is not quite what you see in social media

Suppose you spend time on YouTube or Instagram from time to time. In that case, you will probably have been bombarded with content and ads about people teaching you how to make money, often surrounded by expensive cars, in luxury mansions or travelling to exotic destinations and staying in luxury hotels.

While some of that stuff might appeal to some people, it wouldn’t add much value to the majority of people. More expensive stuff means having to constantly make a lot of money just to stay on that level and probably worrying that one day you might have to downgrade your lifestyle again.

What the majority of people are mostly looking for is having peace of mind over money, not having to worry constantly about not having enough to make ends meet, afford a holiday from time to time or have some spare cash for unexpected events such as a car repair.

Money is just a tool, not a goal

Money, unlike before 1971, is no longer backed by gold. Instead, central banks can increase the money supply anytime they want and they do it quite often (hence the reason for the living cost crisis).

Why would you work so hard for something they can create more of at any time?
